The obverse of the £1 George V coin depicts King George V, who reigned between 1910 and 1936. The Sovereign gold coin has been minted by the Royal Mint since 1817. The reverse shows St. George fighting the dragon. The coins were minted from 1893 to 1901. The mint of the United Kingdom was founded in 886 and was based in London for almost 1100 years. The term sovereign is the English word for sovereign or sovereign. The prices quoted refer to the most common vintages. The actual allocation of coins is subject to availability, so special vintages can be requested but not guaranteed.
