The silver Vienna Philharmonic has been issued by the Austrian Mint in the weight unit of 1 ounce since 2008. This coin is one of the most popular silver coins in the world. The motif, which remains the same every year, shows a selection of instruments from the famous Austrian orchestra. The value side shows the organ of the Vienna Musikverein, which is well-known from the New Year's concerts.
The Silver Philharmonic has a face value of 1.50 euros, making it the first silver bullion coin with a euro face value. The actual allocation of coins is subject to availability, so unfortunately special vintage requests cannot be considered. You can purchase the coin not only individually packaged or in a box, but also in coin tubes (with 20 coins each) or in boxes of 500 coins each.
